if you haven't read this book.... do.....
just finished it and it was incredible.... so heart wrenching!
the sympathy you feel for the "miserable wretch" is undeniable
love this book cover too...
we're a family of three living in oakland, california. as a new mother i'm working on creating and appreciating all those simple and wonderful moments in life that slip by so fast. the danish have a word for these moments that we cherish...' hygge.' this is what i live for. to be able to recognize and be present when life really happens to you is my constant and lifetime goal. this blog is a way of documenting and sharing these moments of 'hygge.'
I really want to read it now. ally told me how good it is too. I never got past the into or whatever it's got in the front. maybe i'll skip that!
ReplyDeleteThat *is* a great cover. But sadly, I didn't like the book! And I am sad about that. I mean, I can tell why it's so famous, but it was just weird to me.
